Frequency315/433 MHz

Autel MX-Sensor 2-in-1 is a programmable universal TPMS tire pressure sensor combining both 315 MHz and 433 MHz frequencies in a single sensor. One sensor model can replace a large number of original TPMS sensors, reducing inventory requirements and making everyday tire and TPMS service more efficient.

The sensor is programmed with a compatible Autel TPMS tool to match the vehicle’s original TPMS sensor. The original sensor ID can be cloned directly to the MX-Sensor, allowing supported vehicles to avoid a separate TPMS relearn procedure when the replacement sensor is installed in the same wheel position.

This version is supplied with a rubber press-in valve suitable for common passenger vehicle wheels. The MX-Sensor design also allows compatible rubber and metal valve stems to be exchanged on the sensor body.

Features

  • 315 MHz + 433 MHz 2-in-1 — Both common TPMS frequencies are combined in one programmable sensor.
  • Programmable universal TPMS sensor — Can be programmed to replace a large range of original TPMS sensors.
  • Wide vehicle coverage — Suitable for most TPMS-equipped European, Asian, and American vehicles.
  • 100% ID cloneable — The original TPMS sensor ID can be copied directly to the MX-Sensor.
  • No relearn required when cloned in many applications — When the original sensor ID is cloned and the replacement sensor is installed in the same wheel position, a separate relearn procedure is generally not required on supported vehicles.
  • Wireless programming — MX-Sensor is programmed wirelessly using a compatible Autel TPMS tool.
  • Can be programmed after installation — Strong signal performance allows the sensor to be programmed even after it has been installed in the wheel with compatible Autel equipment.
  • Rubber press-in valve — Easy-to-install rubber valve suitable for common passenger vehicle wheels.
  • Interchangeable valve design — Compatible rubber and metal valve stems can be exchanged on the sensor body.
  • Reduces inventory requirements — One 315 / 433 MHz sensor replaces a large number of separate OE sensor models.

Programming

MX-Sensor can be programmed with a compatible Autel TPMS tool using methods such as:

  • Copy by Activation — reads the original sensor ID wirelessly and copies it to the new sensor
  • Copy by OBD — programs a sensor ID retrieved from the vehicle ECU
  • Copy by Input — manually enters the sensor ID
  • Auto Create — automatically generates a new sensor ID

If a new ID is generated using Auto Create, a TPMS Relearn procedure is generally required.

Technical specifications

Compatibility

MX-Sensor can be programmed with compatible Autel TPMS tools, including:

  • Autel MaxiTPMS series
  • Autel MaxiSYS TS-series TPMS tools
  • Other Autel devices supporting MX-Sensor programming

Vehicle-specific compatibility depends on the vehicle model, model year, and Autel software version.

Package contents

  • Autel MX-Sensor 2-in-1 315 / 433 MHz
  • Rubber press-in valve stem

Please note

  • MX-Sensor is supplied unprogrammed and must be programmed with a compatible Autel TPMS tool before use.
  • The original vehicle TPMS sensor frequency, type, and compatibility should be checked before programming.
  • When cloning the original sensor ID, the replacement sensor should be installed in the same wheel position to avoid a separate relearn procedure on supported vehicles.
  • If a new sensor ID is created, the vehicle TPMS system will generally need to learn the new sensor.
  • Check vehicle-specific compatibility in the latest Autel TPMS software before installation.
