Autel MaxiBAS BTMS is a professional OBDII Memory Saver cable designed to provide backup power to the vehicle’s electronics during battery replacement.

BTMS connects to the vehicle’s OBDII / EOBD port and to an external 12 V backup power source using the included battery clamps. When the vehicle’s main battery is disconnected, BTMS maintains power to the vehicle’s control units and electronic systems.

This helps prevent the loss of stored settings, memory positions, and system data during battery replacement and can reduce the need for system reprogramming or resetting afterward.

BTMS includes overvoltage protection and LED indicators that allow the user to verify the power supply status before disconnecting the vehicle battery.

Features

  • OBDII Memory Saver — Maintains power to the vehicle’s electronics while the main battery is disconnected.
  • Preserves vehicle settings — Helps prevent the loss of stored codes, settings, and electronic memory during battery replacement.
  • 12 V backup power source — Connects to an external 12 V battery using battery clamps.
  • OBDII / EOBD connection — Supplies backup power directly through the vehicle’s diagnostic port.
  • Overvoltage protection — Helps protect the vehicle’s electrical system from voltage spikes during use.
  • LED status indicators — Three LED indicators show the power supply and connection status.
  • Speeds up battery replacement — Reduces the risk of needing to restore settings or recode systems after battery disconnection.
  • Easy Plug-and-Play operation — Connects to the OBDII port and 12 V backup battery without separate programming procedures.

Applications

BTMS is suitable for:

  • Vehicle battery replacement
  • Preserving electronic settings while the battery is disconnected

  • BTMS is not a battery tester or diagnostic device.
  • Always verify correct polarity and the LED-indicated connection status before disconnecting the vehicle’s main battery.
  • The backup power source must be in good condition and suitable for the vehicle’s 12 V electrical system.
  • BTMS is designed to maintain power to vehicle electronics during battery replacement, not to start the vehicle.
